Free App Dev Studio makes small, everyday tools for Android. We started with a simple frustration: scanning a receipt or a page of notes shouldn't require creating an account, having your documents uploaded to a server, or paying a monthly subscription. So we built the apps we wanted to use ourselves.
Every scan is processed by your phone's own processor and saved in your phone's own storage. Text recognition, edge detection, and image cleanup all run locally, so our apps work the same in airplane mode as they do on Wi-Fi. We never see your receipts, notes, or contacts, because they are never sent to us.
Our apps are not trials or cut-down versions of paid products. There are no premium tiers, scan limits, or watermarks. We keep them free by showing ads in the apps and on this website, and our privacy policy explains exactly what that involves, in plain language.
Free Receipt Scanner is for people tracking expenses, household budgets, or tax records. Note Scanner is for students, teachers, and anyone who still thinks best with a pen. Card Scanner is for people who meet a lot of others through work and want those contacts in their phone rather than in a drawer. Keeping each app focused makes it faster, lighter, and easier to use.
